His sweet nature helped him to fit into the rest of the pack of 5 dogs with great ease, and quickly became the whole family’s gentle giant sweetheart.

Breed: Cocker Spaniel

Regular Handlers: Linda and Ken Gosnell
Background: Holly has certainly enriched our lives since we rescued her a year ago. As her background was a complete mystery we have spent the year getting to know Holly and all her little ways before we embarked on seeing if she would enjoy being a therapy dog. She had many new things to learn including being walked on a lead, and understanding what she was asked to do in English. Holly has turned out to be the most lovable rascal who gives us nothing but joy and we are so pleased that she has become part of our family.
Fun Fact: She loves doing 'Hi Fives' and finding bugs in the lawn!

Fun fact: Hadley twists his whole body when I come home, and bumps his wet nose against ones hands (he's so happy when I get back home). He loves his walks, and going out with me, and travels very well, such a tranquil spirit. He is not interested in chasing other animals, but is besotted with a ball (never wants to bring it back however).
Breed: Basset Hound

Fun Fact: Georgie used to be afraid of big dogs, but now he kisses them all- girls and boys!
Date of Birth: 14 February 2014
Regular Handler: Ilse-Mari Bosch
Background: Gandalf was rescued from the SPCA at 10 weeks old and blossomed as soon as he became part of a family. From the start he showed a love for people and especially children, which meant his destination to become a therapy dog was already paved. At the young age of one year three months old he passed his therapy dog assessment and qualified as a Topdog in August 2015. He now thrives on spreading smiles by miles and blossom at each visit.
